The Top fitting has been made large enough to provide a good gripping point to push the Sticks into the ground, but if you struggle with hard ground - do the sensible thing and just use a sacrificial Bivvy Peg to pre-dig a pilot hole.

Originally made for my own use, copying a fancy Axe's grip I have that uses Para-Chord in a medieval style. Just over 12" wide in Titanium weighing just 93 grams, + the Stainless Steel Carabine that's fitted. The thick Black or Combat Green Para- Chord is not just wound around the Titanium shaft it's actually bonded to it, and fixed into it at each end so it can never unravel or come loose.

Simply used to put a line onto a far banking allowing you to nip around and then put a baited rig + freebies precisely in normally unreachable spots with zero fuss or commotion.

Made from solid Stainless Steel with a solid Brass Inner Stem, fitment of these allows instant fitment/removal of your Alarms. They also eradicate the problems of Alarm alignment and Indicator Bracket alignment, no more struggling to align and damaging fragile Alarm cases.
Very simple to use/fit: the Stainless Steel main barrel part says on your Alarms threaded mounting with the Indicator Bracket locked in position above it permanently, you fit the solid Brass Inner Stem into what every you intend using, Slot the Alarm/Barrel over the Stem part - align and lock, it's that simple.
~ Spare Inner Stems can be bought separate, for multiple set up use

The Defiant Digging Stick - been making these since the turn of the millennium, basically a “Tool” for pre-digging holes for Bank Sticks, Storm Poles etc..... Frankly, if you cannot get one of these Digging Sticks into the ground then you’re wasting your time - do the sensible thing and use a Pod.
Titanium main shaft combined with stainless steel fittings making a extremely strong, light weight and totally corrosion resistant product.
The Solid Stainless Steel Tommy Bar is stored inside the main shaft for easy transportation plus prevents it ever getting mislaid/lost
Fitted with a “Proper” solid Stainless Steel Archimedean Screw type Auger (Identical to the ones fitted in the famous Dreadnought Type Bank Sticks)

Rod Stays (Aka Snag Ears)
Incorporating the standard Defiant MPS Indicator Quick Release fitting into a Stainless Base plate that's thick enough to not suffer from being accidentally bent, but can be fitted with numerous threaded mountings at request. The "Posts" are made from 8mm solid Titanium (Your not going to ever bend or break one of these!) In both 4" and 5" long options.
The Posts can be removed at will via undoing the Socket Allan Screw in the base.

Stabilizer/ Pod Lock Kit
A simple easy to use Stabilizer/ Pod Anchor Kit made in Stainless Steel. Will fit any 1/2" diameter Bank Sticks/ Storm Poles, the example shown has the extra long 7" Spike to give maximum purchase in the ground but can be made any length at request. The Spike is also a much larger diameter than normally used, this greatly improves stability in soft ground or the worst of the lot, sand.
The kit is also provided with a Barrel fitting that convert's the Stabilizer into a Pod Anchor for when fishing on wooden platforms, requires no fancy tools just a Phillips Screwdriver even the Screw is a bog standard PZ2 x 50mm, so can be replaced with ease if lost or worn out.
Note: the Thumb Screws fitted are a large diameter, they lock anything they are fitted into with ease, there is just no need to over-tighten, in fact over-tightening will damage what is being locked.

Bush Mountings
By fitting a pair of these to the base of your Bank Sticks when fishing on Wooden Platforms, they eliminate all movement in all directions
(Except up-wards, but it's not as if your Pod is going to levitate) Available in Black or white, they lock in place by nothing more than a standard wood screw through the centre.

Base Buzz Bar Mountings
A simple slide on and lock mounting that fits onto 1/2" Bank Sticks/Storm Poles, enabling you to then mount a Buzz Bar, ideal for River Pod set ups if a lower Buzz Bar needs to be fitted. Made from solid Stainless Steel.
